Singapore with Mom and her friend

Two days ago, we departed from Batam Center International Ferry Terminal at 6.10 in the morning to Singapore.  Since my mother's friend never been to Singapore before, I had a plan to take her to the common interesting places that every tourist who came to Singapore visited.  After the Immigration clearance, she decided to change her Rupiah money to Singapore dollar. It was 7100 for 1 Singapore dollar.

First place to visit were Universal Studio Singapore, only to take a photograph with the blue giant ball, unfortunately the ball were under maintenance, it was covered but still we can took a picture there since they made a giant ball painting on the wall that covered it.  We went to the Casino and had a window shopping at the Galleria, Resorts World Sentosa, exactly saw those fancy things by the window, It was 9 A.M so the store still closed indeed.

Merlion were our next destination.  It was covered by a green box and transformed into a hotel, as part of the Singapore's Biennale.  According to the Singapore Biennale 2011, this Merlion hotel open to public viewing from March 13rd, 2011 to May 15th, 2011.

If you forget to bring along your umbrella, don't worry because when you get in line to come inside they will borrow you their orange umbrella.

After having a monorail to Sentosa, MRT to Raffles Place we decided to take a bus to Mustafa Center, by taking bus number 131 from the One Raffless bus stop shelter.

Well, frankly say I never like Mustafa because of the smell...it's so...you know what I meant.  My mother's friend bought a lot of souvenirs to bring home.  Had a late lunch at Indian food restaurant and took a cab with a little struggle to Bugis Junction.  It's only 7$ and 10 minutes. At Bugis Junction, we only spent not more than 1 hour.  Then went to Harbourfront, spend a small amount of money at one price store while waiting for the time to go back to Batam at 6 PM.
